The teachers who teach every English class will have the volunteers as assistants and will be their guides at all time. The school emphazises the importance of cultural exchange and communication. They help the kids to be open-minded and to be individuals with a social conscience.

In a small town school, more than 30 students are divided into groups to learn English in order to improve their future job opportunities and therefore their quality of life.

Due to the large number of students in one class and thus a poorer level of education at the local public schools, the 6 to 12 year olds come to Barracas for the extra assistance and attention that they require for learning English.

Unlike giving classes in an English institute or bilingual school, a community center presents a district challenge. The children are willing to learn; many adults enjoy learning something new and diferent.
