Teaching English in a Community Center
Unlike giving classes in an English institute or bilingual school, a community center presents district challenge. Many adults enjoy learrning something that takes them away from their everyday problems and helps them feel that they are still able to learn new skills.
Computer Workshop at the Community Center
Our goal is to provide tools so the adults can get better jobs and so that they set a good example of the importance of education for their children.
Help in a Community Soup Kitchen
The community center is located in the neighbourhood of la Boca. The center provides educational activities and workshops, but it also has small cooperatives, micro enterprises, and the kitchen that receives more than 150 people every day to eat.
Help in an organic garden in a psychiatric hospital
The psychiatric hospital is home to more than 1300 patients. The organic garden was created by Argentinean volunteers to give patients and neighbourhood community a crafted space to see the growth of crops, to learn and to share in the open-air.
Development of local economies in BOLIVIA
Vallegrande, is a small town surrounded by mountains. It is located 110 kilometers from the city of Santa Cruz, one of Bolivia's main cities. Volunteers working for the sustainable development of the region.
