A few months after saying goodbye to Pope Francis, we want to share the legacy he leaves behind—one that goes far beyond his role as a religious leader.

His message reaches into politics, culture, and the economy through his position as Head of State of the Vatican and leader of one of the most influential institutions in the world.

His pontificate was characterized by a vision committed to social justice, peace, and human dignity, as well as by his focus on solidarity and the visibility of the poor, poverty and resistance and resilence.

When a cardinal becomes Pope, he ceases to belong to a country and begins to be a spiritual guide for all Catholic believers around the world. But the values, teachings, and reflections from his previous life are not lost. Pope Francisco keep the memories from his social work with poor communities in Argentina.

Pope Francisco, Jorge Bergoglio, walked through the neighborhoods of Argentina, listening and reflecting on social situations and forms of resistance to dispossession and poverty.

During his papacy, his reflections became political messages that denounced those who cause poverty and suffering, those who worship the God of money. Those who make everything a commodity and turn it into consumption, harming humanity, living beings in general, and the planet.
