Every Sunday there is a street market in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of San Telmo. It stretches the entirety of Defensa street and is filled with a variety of vendors: clothes, food, jewelry, souvenirs, art, pottery, you name it, they have it.

Iguazu Falls is a National Park in the north of Argentina, on the Argentine and Brazilian border. It is about an 18 hour bus ride from Buenos Aires, which, for a round trip, costs about 200 US dollars, and worth every penny and minute.

Argentina is known as the gastronomic capital of South America, and yes, Buenos Aires definitely deserves this reputation. Whether it’s salt or sweet, you will find your happiness at every level!

The very first Argentinian food that I had after I arrived in Buenos Aires was an empanada, a hand-size pastry filled with steaming minced meat and chopped onions. Even tough it was from a small shop in a corner, the taste was amazing.
